ABOUT MONIQUE CRAFT
Growing up
in a military family meant moving around a lot, so I know the emotional and
physical challenge involved. I have
lived in various places throughout the world, such as England and France and I am fluent in French. A lifelong resident of Northern Virginia, and am intimately familiar with the
Washington Metropolitan area and all it has to offer. I have seen this entire area grow and change
tremendously. I have made Springfield my home for almost 30 years where my
husband Don and I have raised our 2 daughters.
I am a 1972
graduate of West Springfield High School and hold a Bachelor of Sciences
degree in Accounting from George Mason University.
I have been interested in the real estate market for as long as I can
remember. Before I became a realtor, I
enjoyed looking at houses, and keeping up with the value of homes. I became licensed in 1990 and quit my “real”
job (Accountant) in 1994 to pursue real estate full time.
My clients would all attest to the
fact that I am professional, dedicated and hard working. I also care very much about the people with
whom I work. I am very committed to
making their objectives a priority. I
sincerely believe in working hard to make your move easy.
I devote myself to serving the needs of my clients before, during and
after each transaction. I regularly
attend seminars and classes to improve my skills, and my business has grown
over the years. My
distinctions since 2004 include Northern Virginia Association of Realtors Top
Producer (Top 5% Nationwide), and Weichert’s Chairman
of the Board Elite Club with over $12 million in sales.
More than
80% of my business is based on referrals & my business depends on
this. These referrals include many
military transfers. I am grateful to all
who have referred me and hope those they have referred have agreed they have
received excellent service and attention.
My sales
have included listings and purchase transactions all over the Northern Virginia.
As my volume has grown, I have assembled a small team, including an
administrative coordinator (Sue Burdin), a buyer representative (Gina Percoco), a stager for my listings (Interior
Designer mom, Suzanne Collins) and a business manager (my beloved husband, Don!). These members of my team share my commitment
to excellence and customer service.
I also care
about our Springfield Community, our local schools and giving back to the
community. I have been a member of our
local school PTA’s for many years, am involved in a group S.O.A.R http://www.soarwestspringfield.com
to secure needed renovations for West
Springfield HS and am involved in a business/school partnership ~ http://www.fcps.edu/westspringfieldhs/pyramid/partners/pyramid.html. This partnership involves local business
people helping our schools monetarily, or through mentoring programs.
